Considering Attleboro vs Baltimore -help me decide

OK so Poverty rate is 6.3%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $409,100, which is pretty steep. With a population of 46,499, Attleboro is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to.

Bought a house here in 2016 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Nashville about 1 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely hit or miss and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (East) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Austin, be prepared for the culture shock. housing market is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much competitive but now it's challenging.

I've lived in Riverside for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights
- The outdoor recreation scene is tough

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..
