Honest thoughts on life in Attleboro

Longtime lurker here, I've been here for 12 years and Homes are going for about $409,100 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 46,499 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Used to live on the Uptown side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in South for 1 years. Moved from Atlanta for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is solid. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
construction is strong here. consulting is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are wild for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor scene is challenging - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. South schools are underrated. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Can feel isolated. Homeless population growing downtown. And pet-friendliness can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For families, I'd say this is a 6/10. Happy to answer more specific questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
