Is Attleboro worth it salary-wise?

Curious what people think. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $409,100, which is pretty steep. You can expect to pay around $1,446 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Should I be concerned? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I've lived in South for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good internet infrastructure
- The outdoor recreation scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Dallas it's decent.
