Is it worth buying in Attleboro?

Hey, Just moved here 3 months ago and The median home value here is around $409,100, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Attleboro sits at 273.6 per 100K. With a population of 46,499, Attleboro is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $409,100 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Pros:
- Growing food scene
- Low crime in most areas
- Close to nature
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Rising rent prices
- Limited nightlife
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homelessness issues downtown
Would love some local perspective. Thanks for reading. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great craft beer places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
