Commute times in Atwood -how bad?

The unemployment rate is 7.2%, which is concerning. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from LA about 12 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is pretty good.
