Best kept secrets of Auburn, AL

I've been here for 1 years and The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Should I be concerned? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is average in most areas.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
