First post here. Just moved here 15 months ago and Rent is about $1,034/month for a decent place. With a population of 78,738, Auburn is a smaller city. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I wrong here? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
