Is Auburn Hills a good place to live?
Longtime lurker here, We have two kids and Rent is about $1,411/month for a decent place. Any advice would be great.

I've lived in Fairview for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Four distinct seasons
- The community vibe scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Road conditions need improvement
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
