Studio apartments in Auburn -options?

Been meaning to ask this. I relocated for work and It's a a small town city with about 24,294 people. Rent is about $983/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I wrong here?

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
