Not sure if this has been asked before, but We have two kids and Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $49,377 in Auburn. Median household income is $49,377, which feels on the lower side for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.
