First post here. I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $95,367, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $1,713/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $510,400, which is pretty steep. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
