Aumsville is underrated, change my mind

Hey folks, I'm originally from Cleveland and It's a a small town city with about 4,220 people. Household incomes average around $89,651 in Aumsville. Rent is about $1,760/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Bought a house here in 2018 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.

I've lived in North for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- The outdoor recreation scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Definitely worth checking out..

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is underrated in most areas.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is pet-friendliness. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Feel free to reach out with questions..
