Is Aurora a good place to live?

Curious what people think. We have two kids and Homes are going for about $444,500 on average. Median household income is $84,320, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 8.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,759/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
