Is Aurora a good place to live?

Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider — Aurora sits at 735.4 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $84,320, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any advice would be great. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.
