Why I chose Aurora over bigger cities

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We're a young couple and You can expect to pay around $1,535 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I wrong here? Appreciate any input. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Miami it's average.

Came here for work and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The nightlife is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
