Commute times in Aurora -how bad?

Hello, Crime rate is something to consider -Aurora sits at 62.5 per 100K. With a population of 1,104, Aurora is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Worth the trade-offs? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Eastside. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Definitely worth checking out..
