I've been here for 1 years and Median household income is $66,488, which feels about average for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,167 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Boston about 4 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are manageable, gas is tough.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from LA about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong job market in several industries
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I work in consulting here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is underrated. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
