Side hustles in Austin that actually work?

Not sure if this belongs here but Transplant from Salt Lake City. Been here 10 months now. With a population of 967,862, the city has a {city_feel}. Traffic has gotten noticeably worse in the past year. What am I missing here?

Renter's perspective: honestly it's worth it. I'm in Crestview and it's underrated. Definitely shop around though.
