Things Austintown needs to improve

I'm a teacher here and Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. It's a a smaller city city with about 30,215 people. Median household income is $50,855, which feels on the lower side for the area. Homes are going for about $133,000 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Close to nature
- Lots of new development

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Limited dining options
- Far from major airports
- Chain restaurants dominate
Anyone in a similar situation? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
