What surprised you most about Avoca?

First post here. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 5.9%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned? The food scene here is surprising...
