Best hidden gems in Avon

Longtime lurker here, We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $126,618 in Avon. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Worth the trade-offs? Any help is appreciated.

I've lived in Downtown for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- The nightlife scene is improving

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in Lakewood for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The housing market scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Hot take but the quality of life is solid. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.
