Rent vs buy in Avon -what makes sense?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The median home value here is around $377,100, which seems about average. Poverty rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,446 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Avon sits at 34.7 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What do you all think? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Highland area are tough. Kids love it here.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is decent in most areas.
