Thinking about relocating to Avondale from Denver

Hi all, It's a a smaller city city with about 90,644 people. Median household income is $81,260, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What would you do?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Atlanta about 10 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Close to major attractions
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are stable, gas is tough.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Hope this helps!.
