Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $79,087 in Baldwin Park. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Does this match your experience? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the Old Town side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Thai.
