How much do you pay for rent in Baldwin Park?

I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 11.9%, which is around average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Worth the trade-offs? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Atlanta it's hit or miss.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 12 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Sunset for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The housing market scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- The community vibe scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Eastside. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in legal. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
