First post here. It's a a smaller city city with about 70,720 people. The median home value here is around $588,100, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Baldwin Park sits at 247.8 per 100K. Rent is about $1,817/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Has anyone dealt with this? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
