Cheapest neighborhoods in Ballwin?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a teacher here and It's a a smaller city city with about 30,835 people. The unemployment rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $121,170 in Ballwin. The median home value here is around $353,400, which seems about average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Is this normal for Ballwin? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Nashville about 6 years ago. The main reasons were family and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are wild, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
