Healthcare options in Ballwin?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $353,400 on average. The median home value here is around $353,400, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Sunset for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Four distinct seasons
- The job market scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Definitely worth checking out..

I've lived in Midtown for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Four distinct seasons
- The nightlife scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The walkability is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely average and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (West) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in East for 6 years. Moved from Austin for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is average. We bought in 2015 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.

**Employment:**
government is strong here. marketing is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor scene is hit or miss - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. East schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Traffic during rush hour is rough. Homeless population growing downtown. And cost of living can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 7/10. No regrets on my end.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

If you value safety, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely better than expected and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Raleigh, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely underrated and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Portland, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Chain restaurants dominate.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
