Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and You can expect to pay around $1,239 for rent here. Homes are going for about $202,000 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Would love some local perspective. Thanks in advance! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I work in legal here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is hit or miss. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 1 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into running, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
