Biggest downsides of living in Bangor?

Hello, Homes are going for about $206,300 on average. With a population of 31,663, Bangor is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 45--F, so bundle up in winter. Poverty rate is 9.3%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I wrong here? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
