Been meaning to ask this. I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $58,096 in Bangor. Average temperature is around 45--F, so bundle up in winter. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
