Housing market in Banning right now
Hi all, Crime rate is something to consider -Banning sits at 432.4 per 100K. Any advice would be great.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Denver about 15 years ago. The main reasons were weather and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is challenging.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Moved here from Raleigh about 12 years ago. it's been a really good experience overall. Still getting used to school system but Hope this helps!.
