Working in Banning -salaries realistic?

Hey everyone, I'm originally from Memphis and Crime rate is something to consider -Banning sits at 432.4 per 100K. Household incomes average around $57,699 in Banning. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What would you do? The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I work in finance here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is average. Definitely worth checking out..

Bought a house here in 2016 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want healthcare, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is improving in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much established but now it's excellent.
