Commute times in Barberton -how bad?

Hey, I've been here for 7 years and Median household income is $48,943, which feels on the lower side for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $120,100, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 24,977, Barberton is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What are your go-to spots? TIA! There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Downtown. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in engineering. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like seafood.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
