Job hunting in Barberton -tips?

Hey folks, Rent is about $794/month for a decent place. With a population of 24,977, Barberton is a small town. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Uptown for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The safety scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
