Affordable areas near Bardmoor?

The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $277,100 on average. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. Household incomes average around $91,006 in Bardmoor. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to.

I work in construction here and it exceeded my expectations. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. No regrets on my end..

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The healthcare is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the Springfield side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Dallas about 12 years ago. The main reasons were work and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is tough.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Hope this helps!.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I work in education here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
