Housing market in Barnstable Town right now

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Median household income is $97,348, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Barnstable Town sits at 404.3 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Should I be concerned? Cheers.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Feel free to reach out with questions..

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great Korean places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the North side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The safety is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
