Alright, I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $693/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $156,400, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 1,362, Barrackville is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
