I'm a 51-year-old data analyst and Homes are going for about $200,100 on average. It's a a small town city with about 8,461 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What neighborhoods would you suggest? TIA! The city has invested a lot in new development.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Boston about 2 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good airport with direct flights
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are established, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. No regrets on my end..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Eastside for 2 years. Moved from New York for cost of living. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is excellent. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals.
**Employment:**
real estate is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor scene is underrated - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Eastside schools are underrated. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Winters are long and cold. Limited entertainment options. And school system can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
