How are the schools in Barrington?

Hello, My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. With a population of 11,049, Barrington is a small town. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What are your go-to spots?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Raleigh about 2 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:

- Low crime in most neighborhoods

- Active local events and festivals

- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:

- Limited shopping options

- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is challenging.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..
