Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $350,500, which seems about average. You can expect to pay around $1,857 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I wrong here? Any help is appreciated. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
