Longtime lurker here, I'm originally from Phoenix and Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 1.5%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $350,500, which seems about average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thoughts? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
