Quick question about Bartlett

Alright, I relocated for work and Median household income is $100,660, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $283,700, which seems about average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Let me know your thoughts.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely challenging and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (South) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from San Diego, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to LA it's challenging.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Westside. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
