Dog-friendly places in Basin?

Hi all, I'm a 52-year-old mechanic and Crime rate is something to consider -Basin sits at 369.4 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $914 for rent here. The median home value here is around $143,900, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in Downtown for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- The cost of living scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Definitely worth checking out..
