Been meaning to ask this. Rent is about $821/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 22.4%, which is higher than I expected. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
