With a population of 52,392, Battle Creek is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 11.5%, which is around average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. What would you do? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is decent in most areas.
