My partner and I are Household incomes average around $69,432 in Battlement Mesa. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Does this match your experience? The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.
I've been here 2 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Definitely worth checking out..

Used to live on the South side, now on the Maple Ridge side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is decent in most areas.
