I'm single, late 30s, and The median home value here is around $479,100, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 12.1%, which is around average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Would love some local perspective. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much affordable but now it's decent.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'm a HR manager and I've found the quality of life is solid. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.
