Hey, I'm a 42-year-old pharmacist and Rent is about $1,946/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $479,100 on average. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
