Anyone else feel this way? I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Bay Shore sits at 22.0 per 100K. Household incomes average around $101,695 in Bay Shore. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Anyone in a similar situation? The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
